Constant advances a girl tries to bring
On a guy who will be tested from a girl of the other side
Will he remain faithful or take a wild ride
And from his first love hide?
In this story even if the love died
There are tons of stories where love did abide
No matter what is the love test
With the Lord everyone can give their best
As He will take care of the rest
As we turn to Him
Even when our chances are slim
And the future looks dim
All you have to do is look at the Book of Ruth
All of our relationship worries, He can soothe
His pick for us is better than any loot
Jesus became our Lamb of God
When He obeyed the Father with a nod
As He took lashes for us with something rougher than a rod
All because He loves us so much
There is no love as such
Every heart, mind, soul, He can wonderfully touch
On the cross for our sins He paid
For all the mess we have made
He became our first aid
Giving us the transfusion of His precious Blood
To wipe out the virus of sin's flood
But we need to allow Him to care
Asking Him all of our sins to bear
So the sin virus, His blood can tear
For us Jesus is still there
His Salvation by grace we can wear
So we need never meet Satan in his lair
Jesus and you can be the best pair
Pray, "Lord on my own for Salvation, I don't dare"
I need you to please wash away my sin
So I can win
And one day Heaven enter in
You alone can take away all my filth
With you in Holiness, I will be built
Cause you alone can wash away all my guilt
And give me new life
From sin's strife
So Jesus, please come into my heart
And do your part
Giving me a new start
So Satan's fiery arrows I can dart
Thank you Lord, my prayer you have heard
Now I want to be fed by your Word!!!
