"The Lord said to me, "I knew you before you
were formed within your mother's womb; before you were born I
sanctified you and appointed you as my spokesman to the world."
(Jeremiah 1:15, TLB)
Miracle of Birth to 100 months of Life is a project of
Pittsburgh Standard Ministries to engage the culture through
biblical influence about the value of life.
As our children Esther
and Evangeline celebrated their 100 days of school in February, we
decided to do a ministry project called 'Miracle of Birth to 100
months of Life'. In this project the prayer of Psalm 139 has been
paramount in Esther's life from the day of conception to each month
100 months and beyond. You will see the families and friends that
impacted Esther and those that Esther impacted. More than that, this
is also about Esther's desire to protect the unborn being a voice
for them so they can experience their own 100 months of life and
beyond.
Esther cannot remain speechless as she sings an original
song written by me called Unborn and other cover songs to influence.
My wife has also sung songs to influence.
We hope this message and
the accompanying musical slideshow will let every mother
contemplating abortion to know the value of a precious life so they
can say no to abortion.
It breaks my heart when so many women want
to be mothers, they cannot due to barrenness, miscarriages,
still-birth, etc while many women who have been blessed to conceive
abort their children for many different reasons.
Finally, there are
many women who endure through the hardship of pregnancy to give
birth to beautiful babies. My wife is one of those women.
As our
family thought about the March for Life 2021 in the hopes of
overturning the Roe v. Wade decision of 1973 which has caused the
slaughter of more than 68 million babies, I could not help wonder
what a baby given birth would look like in the first 100 months of
their life and beyond by the Lord's grace and mercy.
When the doctor
checked for our baby's heartbeat, there was a faint heartbeat. So
they decided to do an emergency C-section for my precious wife
Chandraleela. When they opened her up, they saw the umbilical cord
wrapped around our baby's neck. That's why our baby barely had a
heartbeat.
With our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's grace and mercy
through the prayers of families and friends, our baby survived even
though the baby's APGAR score was very low, weight was less than 6
lbs, and she had jaundice.
My youngest brother Rohit decided to call
her Esther. We went with that name because we believed Esther was
born for such a time as this reminding us about the story of Queen
Esther in the Holy Bible.
"You made all the delicate, inner parts of
my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for
making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your
workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. You were there
while I was being formed in utter seclusion! You saw me before I was
born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe.
Every day was recorded in your book! How precious it is, Lord, to
realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even
count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me. And when I
waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!" (Psalm
139:13-18, TLB)
"Instead, we will lovingly follow the truth at all
times--speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly--and so become
more and more in every way like Christ who is the Head of his body,
the Church. Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together
perfectly, and each part in its own special way helps the other
parts, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of
love. (Ephesians 4:15-16, TLB)
