SCRIPTURE:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9, NIV)

How many of us have trouble forgiving ourselves or others?

Many of us go through so much pain and guilt. What others did to us or what we did to them seems so hurtful. There seems no hope to live in peace.

Who can set us free?

Free to forgive the wrongs done to us and the wrongs we have done to others?

Actually there is a medicine you can take.

Whether we acknowledge it or not, the most deadliest virus has invaded our body. This virus makes it impossible for us to forgive ourselves or others. I am talking about sinister sin. There is only one antidote in the whole universe that can cure this deadliest virus. The cost to get this virus is priceless. But God in His love for you and me sent this antidote freely. This is one of the reddest and purest antidote known to humankind. This antidote is the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus died for you and me that we may have Eternal Life. We are saved because of what Jesus did.

You can take this antidote and be cleansed of your sin. Though this virus eats your body daily, it cannot invade your heart, mind, and soul if you take the antidote. Jesus loves you so much and offered His life as a precious sacrifice to you, that you may live.

I don't know what struggles you are going through or what sins you have committed but God is willing to forgive you and give you a new life because of what Jesus did for you and me. Please take the antidote. You will be set free of sin. It is really easy to take this antidote. You just have to call upon the name of the Lord. He will hear you call out to Him. Christ will come into your heart and His cleansing Blood would transform your life around. For He is Holy and Just. He is our Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace! Amen!!!

As we focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and our eyes are set on Him, the enemy cannot rule us. We will have the Armor of God on! Calling upon the name of the Lord is not some mantra you do to get saved. You have to call upon Jesus in sincerity of heart and be sorry for your sins and ask for the transfusion of change which Christ alone can give!

As Christ works in your heart He will reveal the areas that are troubling and help you deal with them including handling an unforgiving spirit.

I want to share this poem with you that was written to help those dealing with the issues of forgiveness.

Forgive and Forget

What others did to you seems terrible?
That the hurt does not seem to be curable?
Because your inner wounds are durable?
Making you feel angry and horrible?
You gotta deal with the pain.
If you want to keep yourself sane.
The Lord is watching and nothing will be in vain.
He will let you and me make progress and gain. (Jer 29:11)
Forgiving is the hardest thing to cope. (Matt 5:7)
But with JESUS there is Hope beyond Hope. (Col 1:27)
For you and me He took beatings with a rope. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
His life for us He decided to give. (Matt 20:28)
Please take the first step to forgive. (Matt 5:44)
With the Prince of Peace's peace you will peacefully live.
Soon the pain you will forget. (Psalm 147:3)
And that you forgave you will never regret. (Isa 30:19)
Please invite Christ in. (Revelation 3:20)
From His DEATH and RESURRECTION, we're freed from sin.
From Satan, the Spiritual war we win. (Eph 6:10-13)
Jesus Christ is for you. (Psalm 27:1)
Nothing Satan can do. (Romans 8:31)

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus I love you. Thanks for loving me so much. Lord you know the hurts we are going through and the inner wounds and scars that other peoples actions have seemed to scar us sometimes permanently or temporary. Lord only you can heal our inner scars and give us peace. You are the Prince of Peace. Please heal us OH LORD! Please give us the ability to forgive those who have wronged us. Please fill us with your Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord, no matter how many times we sin, you forgive and forget. We depend on you Lord and humble ourselves in your presence. Please restore the relationships we have lost because of our unwillingness to forgive and forget. Lord we don't feel up to it, but we choose now to forgive everyone who hurt us in anyway. Thank you. Lord you are there for us and you will help us to restore relationships that seem to be lost. We thank you Lord for dying for us and coming back to life to save us. You can give us a heart of forgiveness. YOUR GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR US. Thank you Lord we can go on. We give our lives to you Lord. IN YOUR NAME WE PRAY LORD, GIVING YOU PRAISES, THANKS LORD YOU HEAR US AND FOR THE ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS. AMEN.

If you want to be a soldier in the Lord's army, you can become it right now. Now is the time of Salvation! You do not have to wait but can pray this prayer and give your life to Christ to serve Him daily! There is no draft but coming to Christ is voluntary. He loves you so much and wants you to come to Him! He will take care of you, guiding you and leading you!

Prayer:
God I am a sinner. I am invaded by this deadliest virus. Many times I feel so guilty and yucky inside. I need forgiveness. I am so sorry for my sins. I have not obeyed you with my whole heart! I have gone my own way and done my own things. I still struggle with sin. I need you Jesus in my life so I can receive forgiveness and a new beginning. In the process, I can forgive others as you help me to. Thank you so much Jesus. I accept the antidote you have sent me. I believe Jesus you died for me and your cleansing blood will cleanse me from all my sins. You came back to life to save me. Thank you God I am set free, free from the bondage of sin. Hear my cry Oh Lord. I accept you Jesus into my heart. I make you my Lord and Personal Savior of my life. Thank you Father God for giving me Salvation. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and making my heart your home. Thank you for living in me Jesus and I will live for you and serve you the rest of the days of my life. Thank you for being my Lord and personal Savior! I can live a life of peace with you on my side. Thank you that you have heard my prayer and answered me! In your Name I Pray Jesus! AMEN! Thank you Lord for answering my prayer. Amen!!!

Friend, if you have prayed this prayer and meant it in your heart, you are a new creation in Christ and all old things are passed away and everything has become new! You may feel something or may not but don’t base it on feelings but base your new life in Christ on the promises of our Savior who will never leave you nor forsake you! Amen!

Spend time in His word and let the Lord speak to you! Start out in the Gospel of John! You can also check out the Gospel of Mark which are the devotionals I have been going through. Learn from Jesus through study and prayer. Also find yourself a church fellowship and a college fellowship you can be part of where you can be part of a community of believers to supplement your own walk with the Lord. Let it be a Bible-believing and Bible-breathing church! Believe in Bible Live Eternally!
