How many of us say, "I HOPE SO"?
I don't know about you, but I often have said that. I was hoping things will go this way for me and that way for me. But there was never surety how things will go. It was basically wishful thinking. Later, I realized there is a richer meaning to hope. Hope is having faith and belief that even though things are bad right now, that's going to change. In Jesus Christ, we all can have that kind of hope. Jesus loves us so much and desires the best for us.

You may be thinking, things are never going to change for me. That's not true. With Jesus on your side, all things are possible. You have to have faith. Jesus can get you through all sorts of trials. Though the trials may be painful, in Christ, you can find rest. Jesus is our hope and He will win the battles for us. With Jesus, you can have surety about your life.

A centurion had hope that Jesus could heal his servant. His hope was not wishful thinking, but strong faith and belief. He had so much hope, that he told Jesus that Jesus did not even have to come to his house to heal the servant but could just say 'be healed' and his servant would be healed according to John 4! Jesus was so happy with the centurions faith. The servant was healed.

Jesus is the same now as He was before. In your pain and struggles, you can call on Jesus who will give you the strength and endurance through the pain and deliver you in His perfect timing.

May you experience the abundant love of the Lord and know there is hope for your life. Yes, there is friend! No matter what we feel like we are facing, Jesus is not far away. Do not give up but keep your eyes focused on Him!

"I want you to trust in me in your times of trouble, says the Lord, so that I can rescue you and you can give me the glory." (Psalm 50:15, TLB)

This is a wonderful promise that has helped me over and over again! Claim the promise and wait on the Lord.

As a counselor, I have used my psychology degree but heavily incorporated biblical counseling to counsel broken hearts with the love of Christ. It is important to acknowledge a problem exists before a solution can be expected so I would share what people go through in a poem format with the problem and then provide hope through the solution. By the Lord’s grace these poems have been used to touch and counsel hearts with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ to change lives because the solution principles are grounded in the Word! They have even helped me in my struggles!

Overcoming Life's Obstacles

Your life seems to be going nowhere?
No one seems to care?
Life is not fair?
Tears roll down your cheek?
You feel so weak?
No where to hide or sneak?
Life is taking you on the wrong peak?
Your life is on hold!
That's what Satan's lie told.
Into sin's slavery, you are sold?
Nothing can make you happy, even gold?
You feel so cold?
Scared to face the world?
Please be strong and bold!
For the Lord your God is with you. (Isaiah 41:10)
Delivering you from Satan's grasp, He will do. (John 10:29)
You were purchased by His Precious Blood (Matt 26:28)
So you can be rescued from sin's flood. (Romans 3:24-25)
Jesus will let you do, your best each minute. (Philip 4:13)
Helping you in each of life's situation to win it. (Psa 32:8)
His love and promises are infinite. (Matt 26:28)
His mercies and blessings are new each sec, min, hour.
Depending on Him and His Word, you can gain Spiritual power.
He has your best interests in mind. (Psa 34:8 & James 1:21)
This you have to yourself, each day remind. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

Prayer:
Father God thank you, you love us so much that you sent your only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. I love you Lord. Thank you Father God for your Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus thank you for loving me so much. Thank you Jesus, you will take care of my problems. Nothing is too hard for you. For many of us Lord, we face many obstacles in life whether it be Spiritual, financial, marital, emotional, physical, or educational problems. We turn these problems and the prayer requests to you. Thank you Lord you never fail to answer our prayers. Just because we don't understand does not mean you didn't answer our prayers. Thank you for the new hope you give us Oh Lord. Help us to be focused on you. It is not always easy! Thank you that we can wait on you Lord for faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not see. Thank you so much Jesus. Thank you for hearing us and answering our prayers! In Your Name I Pray Jesus! Amen!

If you want to be a soldier in the Lord's army, you can become it right now. Now is the time of Salvation! You do not have to wait but can pray this prayer and give your life to Christ to serve Him daily! There is no draft but coming to Christ is voluntary. He loves you so much and wants you to come to Him! He will take care of you, guiding you and leading you!

Prayer:
God I am a sinner. I am invaded by this deadliest virus. Many times I feel so guilty and yucky inside. I need forgiveness. I am so sorry for my sins. I have not obeyed you with my whole heart! I have gone my own way and done my own things. I still struggle with sin. I need you Jesus in my life so I can receive forgiveness and a new beginning. In the process, I can forgive others as you help me to. Thank you so much Jesus. I accept the antidote you have sent me. I believe Jesus you died for me and your cleansing blood will cleanse me from all my sins. You came back to life to save me. Thank you God I am set free, free from the bondage of sin. Hear my cry Oh Lord. I accept you Jesus into my heart. I make you my Lord and Personal Savior of my life. Thank you Father God for giving me Salvation. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and making my heart your home. Thank you for living in me Jesus and I will live for you and serve you the rest of the days of my life. Thank you for being my Lord and personal Savior! I can live a life of peace with you on my side. Thank you that you have heard my prayer and answered me! In your Name I Pray Jesus! AMEN! Thank you Lord for answering my prayer. Amen!!!

Friend, if you have prayed this prayer and meant it in your heart, you are a new creation in Christ and all old things are passed away and everything has become new! You may feel something or may not but don’t base it on feelings but base your new life in Christ on the promises of our Savior who will never leave you nor forsake you! Amen!

Spend time in His word and let the Lord speak to you! Start out in the Gospel of John! You can also check out the Gospel of Mark which are the devotionals I have been going through. Learn from Jesus through study and prayer. Also find yourself a church fellowship and a college fellowship you can be part of where you can be part of a community of believers to supplement your own walk with the Lord. Let it be a Bible-believing and Bible-breathing church! Believe in Bible Live Eternally!
