SCRIPTURE:
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" (Luke 4:18-19, TLB)

How many of you are broken hearted?
I know there are so many broken hearts out there in the world. People's heart can break because of family problems, relational problems, future problems, and so on including our own. Accidentally someone can hurt us that causes our heart to be bruised. Many times the hurt is intentional, shattering our heart to pieces causing internal injuries. You may have done it to someone else because of your own sin.

I want you to know, there is a Great Physician who can put back the shattered pieces of your heart. He understands all the pain you are suffering. All the loneliness you feel. When you feel hopeless, He knows that too. When you are afraid to love, He knows that too. He loves you so much. He wants to take care of you. He wants to give you a new heart with love and joy. Jesus came to set the broken hearted and the captives free. Because of how your life has been, how many have hurt you, you may be afraid to receive love or give love. Jesus will never fail you.

Come to Jesus and give Him your shattered heart. He wants it. He will give you joy and peace, even through the suffering. I cannot explain it, you have to experience it.

As a counselor, I have used my psychology degree but heavily incorporated biblical counseling to counsel broken hearts with the love of Christ. It is important to acknowledge a problem exists before a solution can be expected so I would share what people go through in a poem format with the problem and then provide hope through the solution.

By the Lord’s grace these poems have been used to touch and counsel hearts with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ to change lives because the solution principles are grounded in the Word! They have even helped me in my struggles!

Mending a Broken Heart

You are on your own?
No one to call on the phone?
Feelings repressed hard as bone?
Can hear yourself moan?
Resentment eating your sweet tone?
Love seems to be melting like an I scream cone?
Cause you had a fight?
That gave you a stinging bite?
Making life impossible during day or night?
Cause venom of hate choking you so tight?
ANSWER AWAITS in JESUS, God's Son (John 3:16)
Who loves you more than anyone. (Isaiah 43:1-4)
His love is brighter than the sun. (1 Thess 5:5)
Though your relational problems weigh a ton, (Romans 8:28)
You will realize Jesus has your battles won! (1 John 1:4)
Jesus is your Light. (John 8:12)
Restores every relationship with loving might (Psalm 37:5)
When you walk by FAITH, not by sight! (2 Cor 5:7)
As you live through the day or night. (Heb 4:16)
Cause Jesus love for you is pure white. (Ephesians 5:25-27)
JESUS for your sin came to pay (Acts 10:43)
Though you were bad each day. (Isaiah 53:6)
With you Jesus wants to stay. (John 14:18)
Accepting JESUS is life's best way! (Jeremiah 29:11)
Whether it be Jan, Feb, Mar, any month or May. (Hebrews 13:8)

Prayer:
Lord Jesus I love you. Thank you for loving me so much. Thank you Jesus, by knowing you I never need to be alone. Even though the phone may never ring, I can talk to you always. You will always listen to me. You also speak to me through your Word. Lord Jesus I pray for everyone who is going through relational problems whether they be marital problems or boy and girl friend problems. Please Lord be there for them in there time of need and crisis. Let your spectrum of love cover them. I pray for broken hearts. You alone Lord can mend broken hearts perfectly. Please mend broken hearts that are crying out. They can be a result of more than broken relationships and need your healing touch! Thank you Jesus you are our Light. You can restore every relationship with loving might. All we need is faith in you Lord regardless of the circumstances. By faith I claim your promise Lord that when we acknowledge your ways and ask anything according to your will you will grant our request. Thank you Jesus for having our best interests in mind. Thank you Lord Jesus for paying my debt in full: The debt of sin you paid for me though I am bad each day. Thank you Jesus you want to stay with me. I accept you as my Lord and Personal Savior. You are life's best way. Thank you Father God for your son Jesus Christ. In His Name I Pray Thanking You. AMEN

If you want to be a soldier in the Lord's army, you can become it right now. Now is the time of Salvation! You do not have to wait but can pray this prayer and give your life to Christ to serve Him daily! There is no draft but coming to Christ is voluntary. He loves you so much and wants you to come to Him! He will take care of you, guiding you and leading you!

Prayer:
God I am a sinner. I am invaded by this deadliest virus. Many times I feel so guilty and yucky inside. I need forgiveness. I am so sorry for my sins. I have not obeyed you with my whole heart! I have gone my own way and done my own things. I still struggle with sin. I need you Jesus in my life so I can receive forgiveness and a new beginning. In the process, I can forgive others as you help me to. Thank you so much Jesus. I accept the antidote you have sent me. I believe Jesus you died for me and your cleansing blood will cleanse me from all my sins. You came back to life to save me. Thank you God I am set free, free from the bondage of sin. Hear my cry Oh Lord. I accept you Jesus into my heart. I make you my Lord and Personal Savior of my life. Thank you Father God for giving me Salvation. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and making my heart your home. Thank you for living in me Jesus and I will live for you and serve you the rest of the days of my life. Thank you for being my Lord and personal Savior! I can live a life of peace with you on my side. Thank you that you have heard my prayer and answered me! In your Name I Pray Jesus! AMEN! Thank you Lord for answering my prayer. Amen!!!

Friend, if you have prayed this prayer and meant it in your heart, you are a new creation in Christ and all old things are passed away and everything has become new! You may feel something or may not but don’t base it on feelings but base your new life in Christ on the promises of our Savior who will never leave you nor forsake you! Amen!

Spend time in His word and let the Lord speak to you! Start out in the Gospel of John! You can also check out the Gospel of Mark which are the devotionals I have been going through. Learn from Jesus through study and prayer. Also find yourself a church fellowship and a college fellowship you can be part of where you can be part of a community of believers to supplement your own walk with the Lord. Let it be a Bible-believing and Bible-breathing church! Believe in Bible Live Eternally!
