Managing Editor Hundreds of people gathered at Market Square in Downtown on the evening of Thurs, May 02,02 to observe the National Day of Prayer. Around 6:30 pm, Senior Pastor Rockwell Dillaman of the Allegheny Center Alliance Church gave the opening prayer followed by worship and more prayer led by participants gathered there. As the hour and a half event progressed, multiple issues were prayed for whether it be regarding our nation, our city, our children, our civil servants, our military and so on. Crowds joined in the time of worship led by worship leaders of different churches from the area.

Those who received Christ for the first time that night also received a New King James Version of the Gospel of John to give them a start in their Christian walk.
