Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you all be filled with peace that surpasses all understanding as you put your faith and trust in Christ Jesus! Amen!

Quiet Times (Psalm 70, Proverbs 10, John 10)

Blessing:

"But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "Let God be exalted!"

Promise:

"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me--- just as the Father knows me and I know the Father---and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd." (John 10:14-16)

Jesus wants to be our Good Shepherd now and always. He is your Good Shepherd and will lead you on the paths of righteousness. When you are facing hardship, He will be there for you. If you feel lost or wounded, He will be there to bandage your wounds and hold you in His arms of love. Yes, He will because He loves you so much and wants the best for you. You never have to feel alone or scared because Jesus will be there for you. Jesus knows everything about you; all your scars, ailments, weaknesses, strengths, etc and will take care of you according to His tender love and mercies. Even when you feel like, you are being disciplined, it is for your wonderful good so turn to Him always. You can know Him on a daily personal level. Don't allow the circumstances of your life to crowd out the time with your Savior who wants to lead you.

Whether it be finals, relationships, careers, etc allowing them to crowd out your time with the Lord can fill you with more stress. I know God wants to give you rest in this summer time too as you rest in Him, do your best, and leave the results in His precious loving care.

He who created you will take care of you! May you find rest in these times of stress in the arms of your good Shepherd, Jesus Christ! Amen!

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, there is so much going on in our lives especially with people looking for jobs and other stuff that needs to get done. Forgive us when we let other things come before you. We thank you that when we seek you with our whole heart, you make everything else come into perspective. We give our lives to thee and thank thee that you are our Good Shepherd. It really excites me to know that you take care of me. If I were the only sheep who got lost and was wounded, you would come looking for me, and take me in your arms of love. Thank you so much for your tender love and mercies. Thank you Lord even when I am disciplined you do it for my own good that I may not be trapped in more serious consequences. Thank you so much Jesus. Please Lord hear our prayers and take care of our spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs. Thank you so much Jesus! Thank you for hearing us and answering us! Thanks we can rest on thee and the promises of your Word. Thank you for knowing us and we can know you! In Your name I Pray Jesus! Amen!
