“Questions
to Ponder for 'This
Day in Biblical Verses: 1:6”
Compiled by Ramesh C. Reddy
Editors Note: Every single Bible verse
needs to be taken in it's context. Our hope is that by reading the
Bible verses pertaining to the day, you will be curious and read
the
whole chapter of each book of the Bible mentioned here and memorize
the verses. We hope you will use the questions to ponder and reflect
on God's Word.
Questions to ponder after 1:6 verses:
What do you think a godly person can be confident of in
comparison to a godless person? What can you learn in Psalm 1:6?
If someone were to ask you, how can you get to heaven, what
would your response be? How is your response similar or different to
what we can learn in Galatians 1:6? What is the significance of what
you learn in Galatians 1:6?
What do you think God's wonderful kindness and favor is
based upon? Is your response similar or different to what we learn
in Ephesians 1:6?
What can you be so confident of when God begins a good work
in you? What promise can you claim in Philippians 1:6 to excite you
in your life?
What has changed your life? What can change people's lives?
What is significance of what we learn in Colossians 1:6?
If there are two qualities, you can ask the Lord for, what
would they be? What qualities do you think are important in sharing
the Good News of Christ? Once you have those qualities, what should
you do? What can you learn from 1 Timothy 1:6?
When you choose a leader for a church, what qualifications
should be emphaszed ? Why? Why do you think the qualifications
mentioned in Titus 1:6 are so important?
Why cannot 'Proclaiming the Truth' and 'Living the Truth' be
separated when you share about Jesus? What is the significance of
what we learn in Philemon 1:6?
Who do you worship in life and is your worship approved of
based on Hebrews 1:6, why or why not?
If someone were to ask you what kind of mind do you have,
what would you think and why? What kind of mind is mentioned in
James 1:6 and what is the siginificance of that?
When you are going through suffering, what is your reaction?
What promise can we claim in 1 Peter 1:6?
In your life, what have you been asked to put aside and why?
What is the significance of what we learn in 2 Peter 1:6?
If you say, you are someone's friend, what should be
expected of you? Now, what if you say you are a friend of God, what
should be expected of you? What can we learn in 1 John 1:6?
If we say we love God, what is expected of us? What can we
learn in 2 John 1:6?
If a person who knows you has to describe your life, what
would they say and why? Keeping the response in mind, what is so
significant of what we learn in Jude 1:6?
In Christ, what can we become and why? What promise can you
claim in Revelation 1:6?
"For the Lord watches over all the plans and paths of godly men, but
the paths of the godless lead to doom." (Psalm 1:6, TLB)
"I
am amazed that you are turning away so soon from God who, in his
love and mercy, invited you to share the eternal life he gives
through Christ; you are already following a different “way to
heaven,” which really doesn’t go to heaven at all." (Galatians 1:6,
NIV)
"Now all praise to God for his wonderful kindness to us and his
favor that he has poured out upon us because we belong to his dearly
loved Son." (Ephesians 1:6, TLB)

I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep
right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is
finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns."
(Philippians 1:6, TLB)

and changing lives everywhere, just as it changed yours that very
first day you heard it and understood about God’s great kindness to
sinners." (Colossians 1:6, TLB)

and boldness that
is in you, that entered into you when I laid my hands upon your head
and blessed you." (2 Timothy 1:6, TLB)
"The men you choose must be well thought of for their good lives;
they must have only one wife and their children must love the Lord
and not have a reputation for being wild or disobedient to their
parents." (Titus 1:6, TLB)
"And I pray that as you share your faith with others it will grip
their lives too, as they see the wealth of good things in you that
come from Christ Jesus." (Philemon 1:6, TLB)
"And again, when God brings his firstborn into
the world, he says,“Let all God’s angels worship him.” (Hebrews 1:6, NIV)
"But
when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you,
for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that
is driven and tossed by the wind" (James 1:6, NIV)
"So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though the
going is rough for a while down here." (1 Peter 1:6, TLB)

patient and godly, gladly letting God have his way with you." (2

darkness and sin, we are lying." (1 John 1:6, TLB)

us from the very first to love each other." (2 John 1:6, TLB)

turned to a life of sin. Now
God has them chained up in prisons of darkness, waiting for the
judgment day." (Jude 1:6, TLB)

has made us to be a kingdom and priests to
serve his God and Father—to
him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen." (Revelation 1:6,
NIV)
