9-11 report should not have been bipartisan
As the 9-11 Commission report came
out on July 22, 04, I was impressed with the commission’s detailed
report. However, I was upset how bipartisan the report was. President
Clinton had eight years to protect us from terrorism but he seemed to be
busy with his intern Monica Lewinsky for awhile while our intelligence
was suffering.
While Clinton had eight years to
improve our intelligence, Bush had only eight months in office before
9-11 occurred. You cannot get rid of bad intelligence of eight years
within eight months. Even though 9-11 occurred on Pres. Bush’s watch, he
was thrust into the presidency after a president who had Sandy Berger as
his National Security Advisor.
Pres. Bush will be best for our
country because his administration has already done a lot domestically
and internationally after the 9-11 act of terrorism.
Voting for Kerry is inviting
terrorism to make a home in America. I don’t want that. Do you?
We need a President like Bush to
lead us in the war on terror and should be apprehensive of putting
another Democrat like Sen. Kerry into the Oval Office. I do hope readers
know they will be safer with President Bush than Kerry as their
president.
