Two students expelled from university for being in love! Two students who were in love could not keep away from each other and it cost them their education. The woman was in an all women’s hostel that prohibited men from visiting the women there. This however did not stop a top honor student from devising a plan to visit his sweetheart. He was in so much love with her that he disguised himself as a woman and told the security guard that he was her aunt coming to visit. However, a cobbler outside the hostel suspected something about this person and reported it to the right authorities. They were discovered in the women’s room with his shirt and trouser showing underneath his disguise. After a thorough investigation both of them were expelled from their universities for breaking the rules. Love can make people do strange and brave things and what this student did was not only brave but daring. It is a sad thing that they could not wait to meet each other outside the hostel premises and it cost them their education. Both of them were very bright in their academics but their actions were blinded by their love for each other. The university must be commended for their strict rules that emphasize education and academics. The students should not have mixed their academics and their love life. They should have seen each other outside the university. More universities should have those rules so premarital sex and other situations that may occur between men and women in a hostel could be prevented. Love can make people commit mistakes and these two students committed a mistake but they should be given a second chance. If anything this situation shows the love that can be between a man and a woman. As students living in same-sex hostels, they need to realize that there is a reason that universities have that policy and should not encourage others to violate that policy by masquerading as someone they are not just to get in.
