“Almighty
Nurturing Savior, Wonderfully, Enthusiastically Redeems Situations!"

SCRIPTURE: “That evening after sunset
the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. The whole
town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various
diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons
speak because they knew who he was.” (Mark 1:32-34, NIV)
Observations:
I asked myself what is the CAPABILITY
of Jesus? 1. Jesus was capable of
healing many who had various diseases. 2. Jesus was capable of
driving out many demons. 3. Jesus was capable of not letting the
demons speak.
I asked myself what is the COMMITMENT of Jesus?
1. Jesus was commited to healing many who had
various diseases. 2. Jesus was commited to driving out many
demons. 3. Jesus was commited to not letting the demons speak.
I asked myself who is Jesus in the COMPANY of?
1. Jesus was in the company of the people.
2. Jesus was in the company of all the sick. 3. Jesus was in the
company of all the demon-possessed. 4. Jesus was in the company
of the whole town. 5. Jesus was in the company of demons.
I asked myself what did the people do?
-
That evening after
sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
-
The whole town
gathered at the door.
Interpretations:
I asked myself the
significance of their actions?
It is very interesting when there were those who were sick and
demon-possessed, other people were the ones that brought them to Jesus.
They intervened on behalf of the sick and demon-possessed so Jesus could
heal them.
It is also very interesting that the whole
town gathered at the door of Simon and Andrew’s home. This is evident
from the previous verses (Mark 1:29-31) regarding where Jesus was
staying. They were ready and expectant for a healing service!
Observations:
I asked myself what Jesus
did!
-
Jesus healed many who had various diseases.
-
Jesus drove out many demons.
-
Jesus did not let the demons speak because
they knew who He was.
Implications:
I saw important implications for my own life.
When others are sick with various diseases, I can take them before the
Lord and be expectant for healing. The people were expectant and ready
for a healing service and Jesus did not disappoint. Jesus answered! More
than ever, we need this right now with the COVID-19 pandemic. We can be
confident if the Lord chooses to, He can heal immediately no matter if
it is one person or a whole town. Thank you Jesus. Help Oh Lord.
Whatever we are going through, we can find our answers in Jesus for
Jesus is the Answer :)
I ask you now dear friend,
where do you need A.N.S.W.E.R.S in life?
Dear friend, wherever you need answers in
life, you do not need to tackle it on your own. You can take the
help provided for you just as the people who were sick and
demon-possessed took the help of people who were healthy so they
could bring them to Jesus. Each of us are looking for answers in
different things but the commonality is that
'Jesus is the same yesterday, today and
forever. (Hebrews 13:8, TLB)'.
Wherever we need answer, Jesus is there for
us and waits for us to turn to Him. Thank you Jesus. I know the Lord
has intervened so many times with answers. He can do that for you
too.
Lord knows what we are going through and
answers with His promises. In my Quiet Times this morning alone, I
was blessed with the promises of Psalm 43 and Hebrews 13:
"O my soul, why be so gloomy and
discouraged? Trust in God! I shall again praise him for His wondrous
help; He will make me smile again, for He is my God!" (Psalm 43:5,
TLB)
"Stay away from the love of money; be
satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never, never
fail you nor forsake you." That is why we can say without any doubt
or fear, "The Lord is my Helper, and I am not afraid of anything
that mere man can do to me." (Hebrews 13:5-6, TLB)
The
Lord Jesus will answer! Whatever situation you are faced with
whether it is a painful separation like we faced because of visa
issues, the death of a loved one
that we faced, (Both of our dads went to
be with the Lord Jesus) , the loss of a job
after 22 years we faced, the sorrow of a loved one, the loss
of a relationship, travel plans, family problems, COVID-19
sickness, etc, you can bring
yourself before the Lord Jesus for an answer and you can bring others to
Jesus. Jesus wants to help! Yes He does friend! He will reach us where
we are!
The people went expecting Jesus to do great
things and Jesus did not disappoint.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today,
and tomorrow.
I believe what He did in those days, He still can do
today. He uses His followers to accomplish His great works in these last
days. At other times, Jesus intervenes directly!
Expect the Lord to send the answer in your life
for He is the Answer for what you are going through and what your loved
ones are going through. He is your Tower of
refuge and strength. We may not understand why things happen the way
they do but Jesus answers in His perfect timing.
Jesus intervened on our behalf when
Evangeline
was born and taken to
the NICU. Now with the Lord's help, she is 5 years old. Thank you
Jesus. Jesus heard our prayers and the prayers of our brothers and
sisters in the Lord and intervened. The testimony of
Evangeline
can be read and seen in the EXPRESSIONS section of Pittsburgh
Standard including a 5-year musical slideshow. Jesus intervened on
our behalf so my precious wife
Chandraleela
and I could finally be together in the states even though we had
terrible visa issues during the Obama administration. Jesus
intervened in
Esther's
life who had serum sickness, pneumonia, etc this year. Jesus
intervened in our lives after I lost a job of 22 years. I can go on
and on about Jesus' intervention and His answers. He can do the same
for you too. Just wait upon Him. Wait upon Him! The Lord used His
children to help us in different ways through prayers, etc.
You can also be the one to show the Answer to
one who is suffering. You have the awesome opportunity of bringing
people to Jesus for healing no matter what kind of various diseases they
are facing. What people face are not always physical but they can be
spiritual, psychological, emotional, mental, relational, etc but Jesus has the power
to reach all areas of life. That is exciting to know friend. I believe
that with my whole heart and as you look to Scripture and to the One who
made you and me, you can have that faith too!
More than anything people around the world need the Answer to their
life no matter what prestigious jobs they have, how rich or poor they
are, how popular they are, etc because only the Answer can deliver them
from the question of
'Why should God let them into Heaven?'
Thinking about the afterlife is important more than ever with all the
deaths occuring because of the COVID-19 plague. Never lose the
opportunity to share Christ with your loved ones and those you do not
get along with.
You see friend, we all have been marred by sin and separated from
God. Just as the people brought the sick to the Answer, we need to do
the same. Jesus is the Answer. We need to bring ourselves and others to
Jesus Christ for His healing in our lives. We need Jesus Christ because
He will be the Answer to the question.
God can allow us into Heaven not because of all the good works we
think we do, far from it because
all have sinned and fallen short of the
glory of God
(Romans 3:23).
All our good works are like filthy rags to the Lord
(Isaiah 64:6)
but He
can allow us into Heaven because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the
cross for us and our acceptance of His free gift of grace.
Friend,
God demonstrated His own love towards us that while we were yet
sinners Jesus Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Jesus knew He alone can become the
bridge between man and God which started at the cross. So, Jesus shed
His precious cleansing blood on the cross to become our redemptive
sacrifice. Jesus paid the ransom to free us from the bondage of sin with
His precious blood.
Now when we accept the antidote Christ has for us and are covered by
His precious blood, when God looks at us He sees Christ's righteousness
covering over us and His judgment will pass over us. This is exciting to
know friend.
Friend, there are so many that are lost and only Christ's healing
touch and redemption can free them. We have the opportunity to take
people to Christ by our words and mostly by our actions. They need the
Word of God and the healing that comes from God's Word.
May you know the Lord Jesus Christ answers in your life and waits for
you to come to Him with all your wants and needs! Amen! May you know the One who
loves you so much and wants to be your Answer and the Answer to all
humanity!
May you bring souls to Christ after bringing yourself to
Christ! Amen!
"Almighty Nurturing Savior,
Wonderfully, Enthusiastically Redeems Situations!" (A.N.S.W.E.R.S)/”Where
do you need A.N.S.W.E.R.S in life?”
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for staying in Simon and Andrew’s home after the
worship service and healing Simon’s mother-in-law. Then, after sunset
you patiently healed so many who had various diseases when people
brought them to you and the town gathered at the door. Just as you
healed Simon's mother-in-law, I believe you healed each one individually
and personally. I thank you Jesus. This makes me really happy because
you are a God who loves and cares for our needs. You can heal us now too
and answer us in our distress. I thank you Jesus. You know the answers
we are looking for in our lives. There are areas which we need an answer
and wait on you for your help. Help us also to bring people to you so
they can be healed and see that you are the Answer. I thank you Jesus.
Thank you for hearing us and answering us! In Your Name I Pray Jesus!
Amen
Lord Jesus,
You are my all in all. You are my Prince of Peace,
Rock, Savior, and Friend. You are my Holy Father guiding me through to live a
life of righteousness, Holy righteousness. Oh God, I need you more than ever. I
need to feel your hands around me holding me tight. I need your love to surround
me so that you can glow in my life. Help me please Jesus. I desire in your
presence. Thank you for guiding me to live a life of righteousness. Oh God you
love me more than ever. You hear my voice when I cry out to you. When I seek
your face, you fill me up. You are my all in all. Thank you Jesus so much for
your help no matter what I face, your grace is available and you take my case.
Thank you for hearing us and answering us. In Your Name I Pray Jesus! AMEN!
(Most of the prayer is from a vineyard song called “All in All”)
May the Lord Jesus guide you in
His love leading you! Amen!
No matter what you feel in your heart,
know that Jesus has come in and resides with you! You are not alone! To
make your walk strong with the Lord, spend time in prayer talking to Him
as you would to a friend. You don’t need special words to talk to the
Lord. Spend time in His Word reading Psalms and turning them into
prayer. Next allow God to heal you and speak to you through the Gospel
of John or Gospel of
Mark before moving on to other Books of the Bible! Slowly, let the Lord
show you to which Scriptures He wants you to go to next. It is also important to be part of a body of believers to
help you grow in the faith. Find a Bible believing church that preaches
the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation proclaiming Jesus Christ our
crucified and risen Lord who brings us hope, healing, and help by His
grace alone!
