Wake up media and uncover the terrorists

In his book, ‘Losing
Bin Laden: How Bill Clinton's Failures Unleashed Global Terror’,
author and investigative journalist Richard Miniter spoke with Gordon
Robertson during a CBN News interview and revealed the possible
connection between Saddam Hussein and terrorism.
According to the book,
Hussein and his administration played a role in terrorism but the
mainstream media does not like to report on that. I am not surprised
however when you look at the articles put out by papers such as the New
York Times and Washington Post. Their views and reporting seem so
anti-Bush and his administration.
Instead of reporting and
letting the people decide whether it could be true or not, the
mainstream media has committed the sin of omission in its coverage of
finding a link between Hussein and terrorism.
Definitely, people would
want to know any possibility of Hussein’s involvement directly or
indirectly in the tragic events of 9-11 and other terrorism activities.
If the media would report more and write more on what Hussein’s
administration may have had to do with terrorism, would you not think
more people would have supported the United States decision to go after
Hussein.
Then again people who hate
the Bush administration including lot of media outlets would love to
write or report anything that undermines the current administration. As
a source for news, they should report on everything and let the people
decide as FOX NEWS’ slogan states, “We report, you decide: Fair and
Balanced”
Since most media outlets
will not explore issues that put the Bush administration in a good light
even when the administration does right, I highly suggest everyone to
read the complete interview with Richard Miniter at
http://www.cbn.com and then buy the book to see the startling things
that occurred that could have been prevented.
After reading the book,
you will realize that not only Usama Bin Ladin is a threat to Americans
and all those that love peace but Saddam Hussein was a threat too. Open
minded people will also see that going to war with Iraq was in the best
interests of peace.
I know it is ironic that
peace has to be achieved through war but sometimes that is the only way
peace can be achieved.
