Pastor Maurice Trent of Lighthouse Cathedral Church on Fisher Street who stayed past 10:30 p.m. the day of the accident at Mercy gives his support to Roethlisberger from the Word of God. “The promise that I would give him from God’s Word is the Bible says, ‘By His stripes we are healed.’ And that he can lean on his faith and know that whatever the doctors say whether it is doom or gloom, God has the last say so whatever the extent of his injuries, whether there is permanent damage and whether that damage will be permanent or not”, said Pastor Trent.
