WATCH TRAILER: Flawless

RECOMMENDATION:
WATCH THE MOVIE OVER AND OVER!!!

PLOT SYNOPSIS:
'Flawless' is about a janitor named Mr. Hobbs (played by Michael Caine) who sees Laura Quinn (played by the elegant Demi Moore) who is bypassed for a promotion at London Diamond Corporation time after time over men who are less qualified. So, one day Mr. Hobbs sets up a meeting with Quinn to have her help him rob some diamonds from the vault. The movie revolves around the aftermath of the robbery and its implications that come out.

PLOT REVIEW:
'Flawless' is one of the best crime-thriller plots I have seen that does not involve any violence to anyone but the job gets done. It is a highly developed well written script for a movie that can be watched over and over again giving a climax that is never ever expected.

CONTENT REVIEW:
'Flawless' is surprisingly the only intriguing crime caper that I have seen that did not involve any violence. It is also a movie with the 'F' word used only once as bad language. It is very surprising that the 'Flawless' is rated PG-13 instead of PG but probably that is because of that one time way into the movie the 'F' word is used.

It addresses issues such as forgiveness, revenge, greed, money, charity, and perseverance.

What I liked about the movie:

1. In one scene, Mr. Hobbs shares about what Jesus says, 'The first shall be last and the last shall be first' even though he does not agree with it. He shares it to change Quinn's mind. I was happy because a Bible verse was mentioned in the movie.

"But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first." (Matthew 19:30, NIV)

2. I liked how intriguing and mysterious the entire plot was keeping us guessing until the end.

3. I loved the love Mr. Hobbs had for his wife.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8b)

What I did not like about the movie: (SPOILER ALERT)

1. I did not like the revenge part of the movie.

"Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back," says the Lord. Instead, "If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.”Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good." (Romans 12:17-21, NIV)
