PLOT REVIEW:
"Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail" is among some of the best scripts
written for a movie. It is a touching story about what happens when you
are surrounded by the right people in your life who want to love you for
who you are and help make a difference in your life. It is also a story
about happens when you are surrounded by the wrong people in your life
who are judgmental. It is an excellent script that can be watched over
and over again.
CONTENT REVIEW:
"Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail" has mature thematic material, drug
use, some violence, and sexual situations but also addresses themes such
as FORGIVENESS, SELFLESSNESS, LOVE, ANGER, CHURCH GOING, SELFISH
AMBITION, JUDGING ONE ANOTHER, RAPE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES, and WHAT WOULD
JESUS DO?
WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THE MOVIE:
I loved how much emphasis
the movie placed on having a relationship with Jesus and what fruit can
come out of it. It also addressed wonderfully the issue of forgiveness
and how important it is for our lives, not living in guilt from things
that happened in the past, not being selfish for personal gain, not
judging another, getting second chances, and most of all that LOVE
CONQUERS ALL.
