Welcome to the 2009 PS Editorial board of the Pittsburgh Standard! The PS Board is chosen at the discretion of the publisher and each board member can serve as long as the publisher wants. Most board members will serve a minimum of at least one year. All board members can STEP DOWN AT THEIR DISCRETION. Please let me know when you decide to step down. All editorials published are the majority opinion of the board! All editorials should be voted with a 'Yes' or 'No' vote within 24 hrs. A simple majority is needed for an editorial to pass. Each of you will be joined by 23 others who will vote with you unless they abstain. Voting will be done through facebook or email and can be secret or public among board members. A quorum of at least 11 members have to vote for an editorial to be considered for publication.

Liz Blasi is a Pitt alumnus and Chi Omega alumnus! Blasi served on Student Government Board (SGB) for few years, was the pioneer and chair of the Food Service Committee and was president of Chi Omega sorority, which won multiple awards during her tenure, and she was chosen as the ODK Senior of the Year recipient! Blasi also works for Make-a-Wish-Foundation as a Wish Granting Volunteer!

Matthew Budavich was a member of Campus Crusade for Christ and recently graduated as from the University of Pittsburgh class of 2009!

Callan Carrahan is a member of Cornerstone Student Ministry at the University of Pittsburgh and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011. Callan joins the PS Board starting June 01, 2009!

Kelly Creamer is a member of Cornerstone Student Ministry and University Christian Outreach at the University of Pittsburgh and is part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011!

Nick Douty was a member of Phi Beta Lambda and Panther Pitt at the University of Pittsburgh. He recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh class of 2009!

Lanie Fu is a member of Asian Christian Fellowship and a member of Chinese-American Student Association! She is part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011. Lanie joins the PS Board starting June 01, 2009!

Shady Henien is a 2008 Pitt graduate and a alumnus member of Delta Chi fraternity who was Student Government Board as part of the DRIVEN SLATE two years ago and last year won the presidency running on INTEGRITY slate. Henien was instrumental in organizing the first 'Prayer at the Cathedral Event' as a board member and breaking the tie vote to bring in the Panther fiber glass statues to the University of Pittsburgh as the president of SGB He has been active in many student organizations and was chosen as the ODK Senior of the Year recipient! He is currently a MED student at the University of Iowa!

Brian Hu is a member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and is part of the Pittsburgh Class of 2011!

Bethany Klepins is a member of Cornerstone Student Ministry and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011. Bethany joins the PS Board starting June 01, 2009.

Cory Linfield is a member of Campus Crusade for Christ and a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. He is part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011. Cory joins the PS Board starting June 01, 2009.

Nathan Locklin served with distinction as the advisor for Pittsburgh Standard and is currently a database analyst for PPG Industries!

Larry Miller was a 2008 Pitt graduate and a alumnus member of Black Action Society at the University of Pittsburgh and an intern at WPXI Channel 11 news. He recently graduated from Point Park College class of 2009!

Mary O'Brien was a member of Delta Zeta sorority, the winner of Greek Sing 2007 and Greek Sing 2009 at the University of Pittsburgh. She recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh class of 2009!

Matthew Olmes was a member of Cornerstone Student Ministry at the University of Pittsburgh and recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh class of 2009.

Karen Park is a 2008 Pitt graduate and past president of Asian Student Alliance, a member of Asian Christian Fellowship, Indian Student Assoication, Flilipino Student Association, CASA, KCA, Vietnamese Student Association, and Panther Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a member of Mount Zion EM church.

Aaron Pelot is a member of Agape Ministry at the University of Pittsburgh and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011.

James Priestas was the Business Manager of the student organization called Pittsburgh Standard, also a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, a former board member of Student Government Board, a member of ODK, and an officer in InterFraternity Council at the University of Pittsburgh. He recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh class of 2009.

Tracie Rohal is a member of Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Pittsburgh and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2010.

Justin Romeo is the vice-president of the student organization Pittsburgh Standard, is a member of the Catholic Newman Center, a member of Newman Club, a member of F.O.C.U.S, and the student manager for Sodexho dining services. He is part of the Pittsburgh class of 2010.

Mark Ruffalo is a member of the College Republicans and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2010. Mark joins the PS Board starting June 01, 2009.

Emily Setlock is a member of Cornerstone Student Ministry at the University of Pittsburgh and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2010.

Kristen Suchniak was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, a member of Pitt Pathfinders, Student Government Board Public Relations Committee, Omicron Delta Kappa, Golden Key Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Student Alumni Association, and served as the Pitt Dance Marathon Operations Co-Chair.
She recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh class of 2009.

Evelyn Yarzebinski is a member of Campus Crusade for Christ and part of the Pittsburgh class of 2011. Evelyn joins the PS Board starting June 01, 2009.
