“Justices Jilted Grievously God's Marriage
Method!”

“But
‘God made them male and female’
from the beginning of creation. ‘This
explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his
wife, and
the two are united into one.’
Since they are no longer two but one, let
no one split apart what God has joined together.”
(Mark 10:6-9, NLT)
It is a shame that five justices of the Supreme Court voted against
God’s ordination of marriage between a man and a woman. This is not to say that any human being is powerful than God but to
say that Satan can use the minds of human beings to pass laws that
are totally against God’s will.
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those
who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the
Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of
Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. You
see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that
Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’
sake.” (2 Corinthians 4:3-5,
NLT)
Evangelical Christians who hold to the Bible’s absolute Truth
without cherry picking know that God could have stopped this ruling
if he wanted to but He gives human beings free will to choose and
make decisions.
Sadly, the decision of the five justices to vote
against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) which defined marriage
between a man and a woman spit in the face of God. By ruling against
DOMA, they ruled against God’s law. Yet, it is those we are
called to love deeply with the love of Christ!
It is very possible this happened because the Lord Jesus does not
want the church to remain silent on this issue but speak out against
this sin while loving the sinner. It is also a wakeup call for the
church to take marriage seriously in their own lives. The days may change but God’s
Truth stands the test of time and is unchanging forever.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is
true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects
us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God
uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, NLT)
God’s Word is given for our benefit to help us and never hinder us.
We cannot go our own way sinning and want to reap benefits. Sadly,
this is what the LGBT community wants to see happen when it comes to
the practice of homosexuality. When God defined marriage to be
between a man and a woman, He knew what He was doing but human
beings commit the sin of presumption thinking they know better than
God.
“ So
God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts
desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each
other’s bodies. They
traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served
the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy
of eternal praise! Amen. That
is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women
turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in
sex with each other.
And
the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women,
burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other
men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves
the penalty they deserved. Since
they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to
their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be
done.” (Romans
1:24-28, NLT)
To promote gay marriage is to spit in the
face of God telling him that we don’t care what he defines for us
because we will go our own way. Sadly, this is another travesty that
the justices have taken part in today.
It is so dangerous to put the morality of the
nation and society in the majority hands of the Supreme Court when
they are not over the Supreme Being.
The Good News however is that God will never be
done with anyone who turns to Him in repentance no matter what they
have done or where they have been.
"When
we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and
died for us sinners. Now,
most people would not be willing to die for an upright person,
though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is
especially good. But
God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us
while we were still sinners. And
since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ,
he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For
since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son
while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through
the life of his Son. So
now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God
because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God."
(Romans 5:6-11, NLT)
I pray theday will come for the five justices
and the LGBT community to experience Romans 5:6-11 in their own
lives. Until then, it is very scary because one day these
same five justices could decide, ‘Let’s take out ‘In God We Trust’
out of our currency.’
What’s it to say that there won’t be someone
out there who hates columnists like me who want the Supreme Court to
intervene and call this hate speech even though it is not?
It
is possible and we are not far off if we put the livelihood of
citizens in the hands of these justices who have no fear of God or
His ways.
The people should be able to vote what they
believe in, so it was wrong for the justices to silence the vote of
more than 7 million voters who voted against gay marriage in
California. Not only is it wrong but it is so hypocritical that five
justices could silence the vote of the majority of voters and stifle
democracy in California.
Whether you are religious or not, you should
be upset that five justices could side with a lower court even
though the majority of Californian voters believed in that
marriage should be between a man and a woman. Not only that but
these justices decided to vote against the DOMA law passed by both
chambers of Congress.
What’s the point of having both chambers of
Congress and voters making bans if five justices can rule against
it?
Why should five justices have that much
power?
This time they voted against a marriage issue
but what could be next?
The power should be to the people and not to
the justices when what the people vote for supports God’s Word.
It is because of these dangerous justices’
5-4 decision, we need a Federal Marriage Amendment that defines
marriage between a man and a woman as God ordained. Come stand with
me to call for a marriage amendment that upholds God’s law when it
comes to marriage.
That said we should pray for these justices
and love them more because they are away from the Truth. We should
also love the LGBT community with the love of Christ while opposing
their actions. This is the way of the Lord to love the sinner and
hate the sin.
In these last days we will see horrible
things that go against God’s Word and His teachings but we have to
continue to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul,
and strength and love our neighbor without giving into them when
they go against God’s Word.
We are called to stay away from being influenced
by those who opposed God’s Word but still love the person with the
love of Christ whoever they maybe. Loving never means acceptance of
a wrong. So, don’t let
anyone put a guilt trip on you by saying, ‘If you really loved gay
people then you would be for gay marriage for them? etc’. Loving
them does not mean we put away God’s commandments but love them in
their sin while opposing the sin.
We are called to love everybody and see
everybody as someone that our precious Lord Jesus can reach with the
Gospel including the five justices and the LGBT community.
