SCRIPTURE:
“Why try to understand everything that happens along the way, since the Lord is directing our steps.” (Proverbs 20:24)

This verse is so comforting and reassuring to me when I read it and put it to practice because I am reminded that the Lord is in control and no matter what happens along the way, He is directing my steps. There is no reason for me to rack my brain to try to figure things out until I am satisfied even through the hurt and pain for they have been a lot of areas I wish I could change back. Yet, I know it is my fault that certain things happen. The Good News is that I know the Lord has not abandoned me but even through it all is directing my steps.

 It is in moments of doubt and confusion that we need to remember that the Lord is directing our paths and not just when things are going okay. This is the lesson I learned and this promise from the Lord assures me :)

 I ask you now dear friends, what about your S.T.E.P.S in life?

Dear friend, it can seem easy for us to try to figure things out for ourselves when we don’t understand why things are happening the way they do but the Lord Jesus wants us to remember that He is still there for us. He is directing our steps and will bring us where we need to be even though we feel we have messed up and have taken the wrong steps. He is the Creator of the Universe and can change our circumstances around as He chooses.

I cannot understand why some things happen as they do when we don’t want them to happen that way. But our Lord does not want us to live in misery but to depend on Him and yield to Him. No matter what you are facing don’t try to understand everything that is happening your way but know and understand that the Lord is directing your steps through the pain to as you yield to Him.

Prayer:
Dear Jesus, I want to thank you so much for your Word. You Oh Lord, remind us that you are directing our steps and we need not try to understand everything that happens along the way. Lord, you know the times we are discouraged and do not know where we stand but we thank you for your promises and no weapon formed against us will prosper you say in your Word. Help us to hold on to you Lord and to your Word not just focusing on the negative circumstances that have happened to us but knowing through it all your Hand is directing us. That alone is awesome to be joyful Lord. Let our praises go to you even in our direst circumstances please Lord knowing you are our Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus you intervene in our lives. Whatever happens give us the willingness and strength to bear it. Thank you Jesus you answer our prayers. In Your Name I Pray Jesus! Amen!

If you want to give your life to the Lord and make Him Lord of your life, please don't wait. You can ask Him into your life right now. A Christians' road in life is not easy nor peachy but it is worth it. Belonging to the One who created you and loves you with unconditional love is the one you need to belong too. No matter what you have done or where you have been, the Lord reaches out to you with His loving arms of love. If you have been a Christian and feel like you have gone away from the Lord, you can come back to Him and rededicate your life to Him. He will take you in and love you with unconditional love. Do not let guilt stop you from coming to the Lord. He loves you so much and cares for you! Come, Come to the Lord!

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I do not know everything I need to know about you. But, I heard that you love me so much and you are the Light. You said if I come to you, I will not stay in darkness. I come to you Lord as I am with all my baggage. I ask you to take it all from me and give me a new beginning.  I know all the sins in my life have affected me and I need you now. I am willing to give my life to you and ask you for forgiveness. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. Please make my heart your home. Live in me Jesus and I choose to live for you and serve you the rest of the days of my life. There are certain habitual sins in my life that you alone can help me overcome and I rely upon you. Thank you Jesus. I thank you that you want to be my Lord and Personal Savior. Please be in control of my life. I thank you when you forgive me, you give me a new clean slate and I can have a new beginning.  I confess you as my Lord and Personal Savior and believe in my heart that you died for me and rose again to give me eternal life that I can one day spend eternity with you forever. Thank you Jesus! Thank you, you have heard my prayer and answered me. I belong to you and you will take care of me. Thank you Jesus! In Your Name I Pray Jesus! Amen!

You may have felt something, you may have not, but the important thing to know is that Jesus Christ is in your life! Don't just go by feelings.
