PLOT REVIEW:
"How She Move" is about a girl named Raya who has to give up her dreams of leaving the neighborhood she is part of and return there when a family situation occurs. Through the experience she learns to step and decides to participate in the Step Monster competition to raise money for her college tuition when she realizes she failed the entrance exam. She is supported by her wonderful mom & dad and friends.

CONTENT REVIEW:
"How She Move" is an exhilarating and touching movie that addresses issues such as stepping, death, sibling rivalry, love, hate, gangs, drugs, competition, education, loyalty, betrayal, the will of a family to stay together even through hardship of death, perseverance, hardwork, etc. Move over 'Stomp the Yard' for this movie can be watched over and over again.

LANGUAGE:
There are 30 instances of bad words used in the movie.

SEXUAL THEMES:
There are two scenes filled with sexual innuendo.

DRUGS:
The addictive power of drugs and their danger is emphasized throughout the movie.no matter what talent people have.

What I did not like about the movie:
1. Language

What I liked about the movie:
1. Perseverance of the characters.
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:2-4, NIV)

2. Hardwork of the characters.
"Work hard and become a leader;be lazy and become a slave." (Proverbs 12:24, NLT)

4. Thanking Jesus by giving allegiance to the Lord.
"Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you." (Luke 17:17-19, NLT)

5. Funeral where the Lord is mentioned.

6. Ill-gotten gain loses.
"The Lord detests double standards;he is not pleased by dishonest scales." (Proverbs 20:23, NLT)

7. Forgiveness and restoration.
"Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.” (Luke 17:4, NLT)

6. Raya never gave up on her dream even if it meant working harder but what about you?
7. What do you think about the role of Jesus Christ in your life?
