“Barack Brings Menacing Mandate Forcing Followers of Christ Cover Contraceptives!

Is president Obama, the only president in the history of our nation that dares to interfere with what religious groups and their affiliates should and should not do?

Sadly, the answer is an ABSOLUTE YES!

When the church interferes with the state about what the church should and should not be able to do, then many in support of president Obama call that being narrow minded.

But when the state interferes with the church about what the church should and should not be able to do, then many in support of president Obama call that being tolerant.

Neither a church nor any religious groups or affiliations should have to feel that their religious freedom under the Bill of Rights is being violated because of the Obama administration. Yet, sadly this is the situation we are faced with.

According to the Tribune-Review, “The Diocese of Pittsburgh on Monday joined more than 40 Catholic groups across the country in suing the Obama administration for requiring them to offer birth control services to employees as part of a federal health care mandate.

It is utterly shocking to me what the Obama administration has done by promoting a federal health care mandate. It is my hope that the Obama administration not only loses the lawsuit but the entire administration is ousted in favor of a new administration that will not curb on people’s religious freedom.

It is refreshing to know that there are religious leaders out there that will not remain silent when their religious freedom is being curtailed by an administration that could care less.

Bishop David A. Zubik of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and all those who filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration should be applauded and commended for their stance.

Zubik said, “This is a level of interference in religious freedom that no administration -- Democrat or Republican -- has ever done before in the history of the United States.”

How true that is because the Obama administration has threaded on grounds that no administration in the past has ever done such as repealing the ‘Don’t ask, Don’t tell’ policy of gays serving in the military, wanting to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act that defines marriage as between a man and a woman, supporting gay marriage, forcing military chaplains to marry homosexuals, and also continuing to force religious organizations/affiliates to provide birth control to its employees.

It keeps getting worse and worse with president Obama. It will not get any better if we remain silent. We need action from those willing to take a stand against Obama and his administration. Sometimes it just takes one person to make a difference such as Esther who fought for the lives of the Jewish people and ensured their survival.

It is my hope in Pittsburgh that Bishop Zudik and his allies will be joined by others to fight the Obama administration in the courts and at the ballot boxes.

One of the ways we all can take a stand against this administration is by ousting president Obama from power this November 2012.
