REASONS WE SUPPORT PRIESTAS FOR PRESIDENT:

James Priestas has served with excellence as a board member after winning a seat on board by running on a DEDICATION SLATE last year. Pittsburgh Standard proudly endorsed him as part of the engaging eight then and we have not been disappointed.

We are impressed with his track record of serving students' needs and believe with DEDICATION, he will continue to serve the student body's needs if elected president. We are impressed with his work on the SGB Food Committee with current FC chair and board member Janeace Slifka who ran with him on DEDICATION SLATE.

Priestas is working with Sodexho to get ice cream at Market Central. We think that is an excellent idea for students to have ice cream as a dessert at Market Central. Don't you think? If elected president, we believe he will continue to be a bridge between students and Sodexho as he continues on the food committee to meet your needs. He is also working currently with Sodexho management team to change how meal passes work and will be a stronger voice as president.

Priestas also wants to give you a voice on the board of trustees by having a student cast a vote too for decisions that will affect you and your peers. We think this is an excellent idea. Just because it has not happened in a long time does not mean it cannot happen!

Priestas also wants a calendar of events so you can be more involved on campus. One of the things he wants to see happen is a 'Code Blue' contest too! Those are some feasible ideas.

Priestas most of all is there for you!

REASON WE SUPPORT FRANCEE VARNER FOR BOARD:

We love Varner's desire to improve the quality of service offered by Student Health Services, renovating fitness centers throughout campus, and passion to work with fellow board members to meet the continuously changing needs of students.

REASON WE SUPPORT PERRY SERVEDIO FOR BOARD:

We love Servedio's idea of developing a text messaging service to allow students to determine the current occupancy levels in computer labs and his desire to bring an authorized music downloading service.

REASON WE SUPPORT BRITTANY CLONTZ FOR BOARD:

We love Clontz' idea of further facilitating communication between dining services and students through a series of online feedback surveys and an online ordering system at Einstein's.

REASON WE SUPPORT RYAN VERY FOR BOARD

We love Very's idea of wanting to make the streets safer for our students as he hopes to work with Chief Delaney and the Pitt Police.

REASON WE SUPPORT RYAN HADDAD FOR BOARD

We love Haddad's idea of the formation of a task force to advise students in the case of grievances against Oakland landlords. This is an excellent platform issue especially for all those living of campus which will benefit Freshman too who eventually will live off campus.

DEDICATION for your needs is slates ultimate game
Expect Priestas, Varner, and Servedio to fight for you without being tame
Diligently will tackle issues you name
Input from them at Food Committee, Market Central won't be the same
Committed to getting you ICE CREAM also has been Priestas' aim
And addressing music downloading service for your benefit Servedio came
Together working with Varner on Student Health Services, your needs won't be lame
I love serving each of you and so do they without shame
Overall serving you is more important to them than fun, fortune, and fame
