“Honestly Human Nature Can Constantly
Promote Peace!”

Lee's Lessons:
People are wrong when they say that we can
never have world peace because of human nature. It is assumed that
it is human nature to be selfish,
greedy, stereotypical, and violent.
So is it our human nature to drop bombs on
innocent women and children in the name of freedom?
Is it human nature which makes you think
that you deserve fifty dollars for babysitting your neighbor’s kid
for five hours?
When a human first comes into this world he
has no knowledge except that which is passed down onto him. As he
grows older, he develops a greater understanding of the choices he
makes and the repercussions of those choices. The manner of
upbringing and moral support is
crucial in shaping human nature.
Tyrannical dictators such as
Adolf Hitler and
Saddam Hussein were not born evil.
The late-seventeenth century English philosopher
John Locke believed that all
knowledge comes from sense perception and wrote that the human mind
began as a blank slate. Locke
observed the Native Americans living
in the new world and concluded that human nature was a product of
its environment and could therefore be changed by changing the
environment first.
Both Hitler and Hussein, who were financed
by American companies, were products of their environments that
seized opportunities for power and transformed their environments
into a product of themselves.
However, Switz philosopher
Jean-Jacques Rousseau who
experienced fifteen years of persecution believed that people were
born naturally loving, sympathetic, and kind until corrupted by
society. Rousseau was called the father of democracy, socialism,
communism, nationalism, and fascism as he wrote that an individual
becomes truly human by setting aside his own selfish interests and
working for the collective good of the community, thus establishing
the “general will”.
The only thing true about human nature is
that we fear what we don’t understand. Western ideology is quick to
point out that forms of government
other than democracy will never work because people are greedy and a
doctor will never accept that fact that he is getting paid the same
amount as a janitor. This is the capitalist ideology imposed in our
minds that we need to be rewarded for everything that we
do.
The truth is that you don’t need a reason
to help people. If people actually did things to help others in need
and not for their own self benefit then society wouldn’t be driven
by greed but by generosity and kindness. We would not blame the
flaws in society on others but look to ourselves and see how we
could make it better. We can start by doing onto others as we would
have done onto ourselves and maybe one day we will achieve peace.

“Honestly Human Nature
Now Shows Sins Suffering!”

Reddy's Realizations:
People are right when they say that we can never have world peace because of human nature. On our own, we can never know the way of peace.
Whether you or I believe that human nature is inherently good or bad depends on our own philosophical beliefs.
If our philosophy of human nature is based on the writings of philosophers and psychologists who believe that human nature is determined by the environment we are exposed to then human nature itself can be given a high rating of being good or bad based on the environment.
But, if our philosophy of human nature is based on the Perfect Philosopher, then there can be no mistake that human nature in itself is inclined to do evil.
One of the most compelling books on human nature is also the most sought out book, in different languages, throughout the whole wide world. The Author of this book reveals the true identity of human nature.
This philosophical book is broken down into 66 books which reveal the problem of humanity and the solution to humanity. The problem of humanity is it’s inclination to do evil. The solution to humanity is in the One who came to eradicate evil once and for all. Both are revealed in the Scriptures we now know as the Bible or Word of God.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, NIV)
Let us look at some of the things this Perfect Philosopher has to say regarding evil:
“The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that EVERY INCLINATION of the thoughts of his heart was ONLY EVIL ALL THE TIME.” (Genesis 6:5, NIV)
“Every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood.” (Genesis 8:21, NIV)
“Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.” (Psalm 51:5, NIV)
That is why Scripture says,
“As it is written: ‘There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit." "The poison of vipers is on their lips." “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness." "Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know." (Romans 3:10-17, NIV)
If we were stuck with the problem alone then there would be no hope of changing but the solution is in Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior of the world.
“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.” (Colossians 1:19-23, NIV)
