Whatever happened to the days when we as
men would hold the door for a woman? Whatever happened to the days
when we as men would open the door for a woman? Whatever happened to
the days when we as men would say, “Ladies first”?
Whatever
happened to the days when we as men would give up our seat for a
woman? Whatever happened to the days when we as men would say,
“Never hit a girl or lady?” Whatever happened to the days when we as
men would say to a woman, “Let me carry that for you?” Whatever
happened to the days when we as men would protect woman?
Throughout generations men have protected
women. Hollywood movies and Bollywood movies show heroes rescuing
women. Disney movies have shown prince charming coming to the rescue
of the princess.
Why do you think so?
It is because God wants us men to protect
the women in our sphere of influence. That means a man should never
ever take advantage of a woman in any situation. That also means a
boy should never take advantage of a girl in any situation.
When we go away from Scripture and utilize
our own views about men and women because of what culture tells us,
we put ourselves in a very compromising position.
Culture and the progressives will tell you
that women should be treated the same as men. If we buy into the
culture, we as men will not be as helpful to women as we should be.
If you see a man carrying a load, would you
as a man be more inclined to help him more or would you be more
inclined to help a woman carrying that same load?
If we as men are honest, we would say that
we would help the woman over the man! If we are pressed on why we
would help a woman more than a man, our response would be because
men are to take care of women. If we are pressed more, we might say,
“God made men physically stronger than women, so men need to be the
protector of women”.
What should the role of a husband be?
First and foremost, it is to protect his
wife spiritually, physically, emotionally, relationally, and
mentally because that is what God wants him to do.
Why?
The Bible says, “You
husbands must be careful of your wives, being thoughtful of their
needs and honoring them as the weaker sex. Remember that you and
your wife are partners in receiving God’s blessings, and if you
don’t treat her as you should, your prayers will not get ready
answers.” (1 Peter 3:7, TLB)
Let us remember the phrase,
“as the weaker sex”, refers to the
women’s physical body structure compared to men’s physical body
structure.
Men are required to register with the
Selective Service if they are U.S. Citizens and turn 18 but women do
not have to.
According to the Department of Defense,
“As of January 2016, there has been no decision to require females
to register with Selective Service or be subject to a future
military draft. Selective Service continues to register only men,
ages 18 through 25.”
According to the Supreme Court decision in
1981, “Rostker v. Goldberg, held that registering only men did
not violate the due process clause of the Constitution."
Why do you think we don’t mandate women to
register for the military draft?
Let common sense prevail over the
progressive mentality of woman can do whatever man can do. There are
things a woman cannot do as a man can do. There are also things a
man cannot do that only a woman can do.
But both are needed for each other.
“And the Lord God
said, “It isn’t good for man to be alone; I will make a companion
for him, a helper suited to his needs. Then the Lord God caused the
man to fall into a deep sleep, and took one of his ribs and closed
up the place from which he had removed it, and made the rib into a
woman, and brought her to the man. “This
is it!” Adam exclaimed. “She is part of my own bone and flesh! Her
name is ‘woman’ because she was taken out of a man.” This explains
why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife in
such a way that the two become one person.” (Genesis 2:18, 21-24,
TLB)
We as men are to be joined to our wives and
love them!
“Husbands, love your
wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her….
In
the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies.
He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own
flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the
church, because we are members of his body. “Therefore, a man shall
leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two
shall become one flesh.” (Ephesians 5:25, 28-31, TLB)
Women need to be protected by men even if
it means men must die for women. This is paramount and of essential
importance.
Men should never have an advantage over
women because Lord called men to take care of women.
“ When
Jesus saw his mother standing there beside me, his close friend, he
said to her, “He is your son.”
And
to me
he said, “She is your mother!” And from
then on, I took her into my home.” (John 19:26-27, TLB)
When Jesus was crucified for us, Jesus did
not want his mother Mary to be alone so He told His mommy that the
apostle John would be her son. He told the apostle John that Mary
would be his mother. So, the apostle John took Mary into his home.
The apostle John became the protector of
Mary, the Mother of God.
What about us? What
are we doing for women? What are we doing for girls?
We need to protect them in every aspect!
But, it starts with making sure that men
are not in women’s locker rooms. It starts with making sure that men
are not in women’s restrooms. It starts with making sure that men
are not playing in women’s sports.
NFL Legend Jim Brown’s daughter
Kim Brown, an African-American woman
wanted America to know why as an African-American woman she was
supporting former president Donald Trump
over VP Kamala Harris, an
African-American woman.
On Mon, Nov 04, 2024, at the Pittsburgh
rally in PPG Arena, a few feet away from me, Brown gave a powerful
speech that resonated not only in the arena but across the United
States of America.
Brown
said, “Just as my father #32 supported Donald Trump, so do I
because Donald Trump is going to keep men out of women’s sports. I
play women’s tackle football just like my dad. He is offense and I
am defense. Can you imagine us going head to head? NO! I would be
taken out on a stretcher with a concussion protocol. I will be hurt.
That’s the same thing that is going to happen to your daughters.
They are going to have major injuries, mental trauma of men coming
into our bathrooms and our locker rooms, missed opportunities, and
our scholarships taken away. Guess what? Who is going to bear the
cost of that? You, as the parent! You are going to bear the cost of
full tuition in this vicarious economy. Who can afford that? I
CAN’T! CAN YOU? That is why we need to protect TITLE IX because
TITLE IX protects us women in sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms….
So tomorrow Nov 5th,
we are all going to the polls to reelect Donald J Trump as the 47th
president of the United States of America! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”
As the father of two daughters, it is
unconscionable to have ‘men who identify themselves as women’ to
play against woman. This is just common sense.
Men need to be protecting their mothers,
their wives, their daughters, etc. But, in this culture war, women
need to be involved just as Riley Gaines,
a former Penn State swimmer has been involved to protect women in
sports against ‘men who identify as women and play’.
To say men, have no advantage if they take
blockers before puberty is hogwash. Countless women have been
injured by men in women’s sports.
According to Heritage.org, “A
trans-identified six-foot-tall male player with facial hair playing
for the KIPP Academy girls’ basketball team, injured multiple
players and eventually forced the Collegiate Charter School to
forfeit….In 2022, North Carolina volleyball player Payton McNabb
suffered serious injury after a trans-identified male player spiked
a ball at her head and rendered her unconscious.”
This is just the surface. It started with
Trans-Gender athlete Lia Thomas taking
away Riley Gaines championship and San
Jose volleyball team using a Trans-Gender athlete to play against
women. This is just wrong and has to stop.
Where are the feminists who stand up for
women now? Where are they?
At least, we have a man though shunned by
the mainstream media, by countless opposers, who is going to stand
his ground to protect women in sports. He got my vote because he
campaigned that he would sign an executive order to ban men in
women’s sports. This man is Donald J Trump.
My hope is that he keeps his word again as
he kept his word in 2016 with ‘Promises Made, Promises Kept’
Pittsburgh
Standard, in its support of
former president Donald J. Trump, is expecting that he will be the
protector of women in sports. You can be confident of that too.
Throughout history women have depended on
men to defend them and be their heroes. We believe with the Lord’s
help, President-Elect Trump will rise to the occasion to protect
women in sports by having a total ban of men in women’s sports.
Let us protect the girls and women in
sports and beyond. Let us be their hero. Let it start with us men.
Let us remember some of the words to the
song ‘I Need a Hero’ by Bonnie Tyler
describing how many women feel.
“Where have all the good men gone?
Where’s the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds? Isn’t
there a white knight upon the fiery steed? Late at night, I toss and
I turn and I dream of what I need! I need a hero! I’m holding out
for a hero ‘til the end of the night! He’s gotta be strong and he’s
gotta be fast and he’s gotta be fresh from the fight! I need a hero!
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the morning light! He’s gotta be
sure and it’s gotta be soon and he’s gotta be larger than
life!....It’s gonna take a Superman to sweep me of my feet! I need a
hero! I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night! He’s
gotta be strong and he’s gotta be fast and he’s gotta be fresh from
the fight! I need a hero!! I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end
of the night!’
Be the hero to women. Just because you are
a hero to women does not mean they are subservient to men. On the
contrary, our Lord blessed both men and women to take care of the
earth as He created male and female.
“So God created man in his own image in the
image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And
God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply
and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of
the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living
thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:27-28, ESV)
What is amazing is that when
“male and female he created them. And God
blessed them. And God said to them….”, God gave authority to
both man and woman to “Be fruitful and
multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over
the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every
living thing that moves on the earth.”
At the same time, men are called to protect
women in all areas of life. May we as men do that for the women in
our lives. May we stand up for women in sports keeping away men from
them.
One of the reasons President-Elect Trump
was elected was so women can be protected! Fifty-One percent of us
have done that by our vote. But, it does not give us the right to
stand down now. We need to keep FIGHTING! FIGHTING! FIGHTING!, so no
women will ever fear playing women’s sports again!
Ramesh C. Reddy believes women need to
be protected in women’s sports and the men and women need to take a
stand to make that happen. But overall, Christ alone can be our
Ultimate hero, for all men and women fail without the Lord’s help!
