After sweeping the Ball State Cardinals of the women's
volleyball team, 3-0 at the Fitzerald Field House on Friday, Sept 12,
2003, in the Pittsburgh Invitational, members of the Lady Panthers
Volleyball team bond on Saturday, Sept 13, 2003, as they watch the men's
football team try to decimate the Ball State Cardinals at Heinz
Field.
The women's volleyball team took 2nd place honors in the
Pittsburgh Invitational after sweeping Ball State Cardinals, 3-0 and
Robert Morris College Colonials, 3-0 but falling short to the Dayton
Flyers, 0-3.
Sophomore Megan McGrane pictured above had a record
setting day for the number of digs she had against the Cardinals in a
3-game sweep.
Junior Abby Fechhelm pictured above made her first start
of the season as an outside hitter against the win over the Colonials.
Senior Sarah Rollman pictured above led the Lady Panther's
offensive attack. Senior Wendy Hatlestad also had a major game during the
loss.
Both Rollman and Hatlestad were named to the Pittsburgh
Invitational All Tournament Team.
